A Lovely Poem for Your Leavers Assembly

I am always asked to put a little video together for our Year 6 show and end of year assembly. Each year, I always include a special poem that I finish the end of year video with. Using iMovie trailers across the curriculum

iMovie - The Video Editing App! There are plenty of video editing apps but none can compare to the child friendly layout of iMovie. The app itself is perfect for the classroom, children learn quickly how to navigate around and use the app confidently.  I often do keepsakes for school trips, leaver's yearbooks and in the past have used Microsoft Movie Maker - I will however definitely be experimenting using iMovie in the future due to the straightforward and easy to use layout! Possible the best feature for the use in classrooms is the in built trailers! The app allows you to create 12 different Hollywood style trailers all with different styles. Having previously blogged about Christmas Adverts, in particular, the John Lewis Ad, it was only inevitable I would do the same with their latest effort: With my new website - MrPICT.com , I have put together a whole topic page looking at creative ways to explore the advert: The first two ideas are COMPLETELY FREE.
